How to Live a Strong and Healthy life .....

Ever wondered about changing your life for the better? Maybe you’re interested in losing weight, being more active or just feeling healthier. To live a healthier life you’ll most likely need to make some adjustments in a wide variety of areas. Being “healthy” is based on many things including: your genetics, diet, exercise routine and lifestyle choices. Since you cannot control your genes, making changes to items you have control over can help lead to a healthier lifestyle.
Focus on making small changes to your diet, exercise and other lifestyle factors to help make you healthier.
  1. Stay out of the sun
Avoiding too much sun can head off skin cancer, and it can also keep you looking young by preventing wrinkles,  fine lines, and saggy skin. It’s never too early—or too late—to add sunscreen to your daily skin-care regimen (look for an SPF of 30 or higher). And don’t focus only on your face. Sun damage spots and splotches on your chest and neck will also make you appear older.
  1. Eat a balanced diet
Eat a balanced diet emphasizing a variety of fruits, vegetables and whole grains. Limit unhealthy fats, such as saturated and trans fats, and foods loaded with sugar and salt.
  1. Do lot of physical activity
Make physical activity part of your daily routine and include aerobic activities, such as swimming and cycling, and strength-building exercises, using free weights or resistance machines. Regular physical activity helps people: live longer and feel better throughout their lives, be stronger and more flexible, build strong bones and fight osteoporosis, and prevents depression.

  1. Sleep properly
Get enough sleep so your body and mind have time to rest and recover. Too little sleep increases your risk of accidents.
  1. A healthy mind is part of a healthy body
When you are in a good state of mind, you make good decisions for yourself about your job, your lifestyle, and your health. Here are some things you can do to keep your mind healthy:
  • Reduce stress in your life
  • Make time in your life for things that are fun. Make a list of activities you like and make sure you have at least a little time each day for doing something you enjoy
  • Get help if you feel depressed or anxious for more than several days at a time. Talk with a friend or your health care provider for some help.
  1. Don’t use tobacco products
Tobacco products are linked with serious, life-threatening conditions, including various cancers, heart disease and respiratory illnesses.
Eat Less Acidic Foods
By working to get our bodies more alkaline, we are promoting a healthier environment for our cells to thrive. Too much acidity causes inflammation in our system and leads to numerous possible health challenges. Foods like alcohol, white flour, dairy products, caffeine and sugar are acid-forming. Do your best to remove or reduce these items from your diet and replace them with more vegetables and fruits, whole grains, almond, coconut or rice milk products, and use stevia or coconut sugar as sweetener.
Exercise
This is the part that many people don’t want to hear, but it bears repeating. Moderate exercise will benefit your life. By performing strength and cardiovascular training of some type, you not only improve your overall health, but you will feel and look better too. If you haven’t started an exercise routine, take it slowly.

GIANT GOALS PRODUCE GIANT MOTIVATION So often, people ask me, "Where do I get my energy? With all that intensity, no wonder you're so successful. I just don't have your drive; I guess  I'm not motivated. I guess I'm lazy." My usual response is, "You're not lazy! You just have impotent goals!" Frequently I get a confused look to this response, at which point I explain that my level of excitement and drive comes from my goals. Every morning when I wake up, even if I feel physically exhausted from a lack of sleep, I'll still find the drive I need because my goals are so exciting to me. They get me up early, keep me up late, and inspire me to marshal my resources and use everything I can possibly find within the sphere of my influence to bring them to fruition. The same energy and sense of mission is available to you now, but it will never be awakened  by puny goals. The first step is to develop bigger, more inspiring, more challenging ...

WHY DOESN'T EVERYONE SET GOALS?

You might be thinking right now, "Well, this all sounds so inspiraional, but surely just setting a goal doesn't make it happen." I couldn't agree with you more. All goal setting must be immediately followed by both the development of a plan, and massive and consistent action toward its fulfillment. You  already have this power to act. If you haven't been able to summon it, it's merely because you have failed to set goals that inspire you.  What's holding you back? Surely you've been exposed to the power of goal setting before. But do you have a list of clearly defined goals for the results you will absolutely produce in your life mentally, emotionally, physically, spiritually, and financially? What has stopped you? For many it's the unconscious fear of disappointment. Some people have set goals in the past and failed to achieve them and, as a result of their disappointment and their fear of future pain, they stop setting goals. They don't ...
